There are many people out there that almost seem to be scared when it comes to buying pets because they feel that it is going to be very tough when it comes to training the thing, this is often not the case.

Family

I would say that when it comes to the family it is important that the animal is used to them. The best thing to do is actually wait until your baby is born before getting a dog if you are pregnant because just like people they will get jealous of losing the attention which could result in them lashing out. Other than this, make sure the whole family is around when training to avoid the animal missing out on knowing who is the master.

House Training

If you do not train your animal on how not to poop on the sofas and things then you are going to have problem for the next few years. The first thing that you need to realise is that a puppy is very similar to a baby and cannot control their bladders or bowel and although you must show them that what they have done is wrong you should never completely lose it with them. Yes that’s even if they do a nice wee against the sofa. Making sure to feed them at the same time every single day is actually a great way to start the training process, take them out after this. After playtime is another time where puppies and kittens often need to go so make sure you take them after this. Over time the puppy will learn what to do and will do the business on its own accord.

Health

If your animal gets ill and you don’t do anything they will start to dislike you so make sure you take them to a small animal vet or animal hospital. The same goes if they need something like animal physiotherapy.
